Time management

This is the only valuable thing next health and life.

No once can take it form you or give you and you have full control of this most important ‘commodity’ . Unlike money you can’t earn and you can’t save either so try to live each day consciously try not to wast time counting seconds but enjoying each.

How to start, begin with a plan for the day – proactive this is for you to decide and begin every task with specific outcome in mind. Have ‘your’ priorities right so nobody can take this from you this may be playing with your kids. Engaging with your hobbies, studies or day dreaming etc.

Try to measure your productivity each day

Story about Robotic Surgery

“Robotic Surgery”  this is just a fancy way of doing a procedure by remote controls. There is no robot doing a surgery inside a patient!

Surgeons like to feel important and when the technology was developed to make better precise movements remotely and with excellent ergonomic we all accepted the “Robotic systems” as real with no critical thinking.

This is not to say it good or bad infant its excellent system when use effectively. Saves our joints and in the long-term it will be definite cost effective.

Ideally we aught to think about some routine surgery to be performed by robots ! this won’t happen yet but I am confident it will.

Reflection on past

I used to live in the past or dreaming the future only at work I am actually living in the present !

I am  trying my best to remind me to live in the present. This is great habit and it took more than 3-6 months for me to develop and now I feel that I am actually living the way I always wanted.

It is a choice to be happy or not in most circumstances. There is always a worst-of person in almost all situations.

I came across a fantastic book called ‘Maybe you should talk to someone’ by L Gottlieb

Thinking big

Learning to think and forming your thought bank…

Getting in to the interesting part of thinking big for me may not be the same as for you. So feel free to find your own.

  1. Day to day decisions are almost automated but if you think just few minutes before you start the day and form a structure this is for me the start of all changes of my thinking process.
  2. Just think about your own perception about self and others and imagine you are wrong then just use this principle and I can reassure that you may be able accept most thinks but may not be right. So try to think actively before judging or jumping in to conclusions.
  3. When you have an obvious answer in front of you and everyone agrees don’t take this as the most accurate but be critical and use alternative theories. ‘Simplest hypothesis’ may be the most possible answer but in this day and age that may not be the most attractive.
  4. Try to be empathetic when ‘thinking big’ and test your ideas against many others unlike you and imagine how your thoughts and actions might affect others.
  5. Be flexible and make your thinking process current and adaptable in situation where you have to deal with fellow human beings.
  6. Don’t be complacent with ‘google searches’ this is not evidence and finding ‘evidence’ doesn’t make you right or wrong. So specially if your action going to affect others please be empathetic and test for alternative theories.

One of the interesting books I came across is Super Thinking By G Weingerg and L McCann. Link attached here – Super Thinking: The Big Book of Mental Models Hardcoverhttps://www.amazon.co.uk › Super-Thinking-Book-Me…
